'because'? - real humans all know that there is nothing that can come after 'because' which can possibly justify terrorising infants, animals, children, and pacifist adults. I am still trying to understand how the USA govt has the nerve to show their face anywhere after what they did to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, never mind what WE helped them do to Vietnam. On Saturday I would like to elect an Australian government which would not ally itself with the US. They pretend to be our friend so they can have their Pine Gap spy base here with a 7-mile 'no go' zone around it. Australian citizens not allowed. FFS.
The trouble, as always, is that the West is "backing" insurgents.
Krudd is as excited as pie because all his posturing over Australia's promotion to UN security council means we can have a real say - whatever that is.
Tony Abbott, to paraphrase, says rudd is a wanker, we are not that important to anyone [what Gap? Why are we talking about indigenous people here?] Anyway, if shit happens, it happens.
Civil wars are always disgusting, aren't they? I suspect the country making the most noise about getting involved is the country more dependent on the weapons industry than any other country in the world.
The expression and mannerism of that young lad is an indication of how quickly kids have to grow up in strife torn countries..horrendous, so thankful that my two have never had to experience it..
