    1. Hi Windsmoke. This quite took me by surprise, because I had no idea they could be so clever.

  2. So cuute! I loved this. I used to have a budgie and it never learned to do any of this stuff. His speciality was hopping down from my shoulder to the keyboard any time I was on the computer and attacking all of the keys. He was really good at it.

    1. Hi Izzy. I think the chap who trained them must have invested an awful lot of love and time with them. Very cute!

  3. No way FC, that was blooming brilliant. I so enjoyed that, who knew budgies were so darned clever AND with a sense of humour haha! Now come on, how is it possible that even in an audience the French can look so chic!!!!

    1. Usually find animal acts a little twee or even patronising, but this was one out of the box, non?

Can't believe vous would be surprised a French audience could look so chic!

    1. Nor I, diane. Still not sure I could, personally. Bribing dogs with schmackos is one thing. I suspect doling out bird seeds one at a time would require the touch of a surgeon - something I don't have.

  5. Based on this, one day, birds will overtake dolphins as the cleverest creatures on the planet!!!

    1. I suspect they already have, and they are members of the genus corvus. [I just looked that up in Twitcherpedia].
